Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP)

The Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) is the bridge between regional vision and implementation.  It is a four-year, fiscally constrained listing of projects that advances state and regional goals by moving transportation needs from planning to delivery.

In the SORTPO region, the RTIP functions as the local reflection of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), ensuring that federally funded projects within the 16-county area are clearly identified and publicly accessible.
