To assist communities in identifying and training an interdisciplinary team on best practices for creating community environments, policies, and programs to encourage routine physical activity, particularly through increased walking, bicycling, and park use.

Speaker: Mark Fenton – Associate professor at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science & Policy. Former host of the “America’s Walking” series on PBS and a consultant for national public health, planning, and transportation

Mark will be joined by a panel of local Oklahoma Experts from across the state.
