The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) wants to hear your input.

In August 2023, ODOT began a comprehensive effort to evaluate its community engagement processes. The next phase of this process is seeking input on how the agency can improve its engagement efforts. Community Engagement is a broad term that includes all the following: 

  • listening to your input regarding transportation and community needs, 
  • responding to your concerns, 
  •  communicating in an easy-to-understand manner, 
  • collaborating with communities to solve problems, 
  • keeping you informed, 
  • answering your questions in a timely manner, and/or 
  • providing ample opportunities for you to give input on transportation issues that impact you. 

Providing exceptional customer service is a guiding principle of ODOT and having your honest assessment of how we’re performing is critical for helping us better engage with communities going forward.
