This project is weather permitting:
Eastbound SH-7 will be narrowed to one lane about 10 miles east of SH-65 near Duncan in Stephens County beginning Thursday, Jan. 27, and continuing through March for bridge maintenance at Hell Creek.
The speed limit will also be reduced in the work zone. Drivers traveling on SH-7 between Lawton and Duncan can expect delays and should plan extra travel time.
The Oklahoma Transportation Commission awarded the $665,000 contract for this project, which also includes preventative maintenance work on I-35 in Carter County, to B & B Construction Service, of Clayton, Okla. All work is expected to be completed in spring 2022.
